  1. May is the month of Our Lady. Let us learn from her example as well as imitating her strong faith. During this month, Adoration is finished at 1:30 p.m. and will be followed by the Rosary in Church.

  2. We have invited a Bishop to come to celebrate our Confirmation Mass on 1/10/2017.  Anyone who has not been confirmed yet and would like to receive this Sacrament, please contact Fr Joseph as soon as possible so that he can arrange the necessary registration with the Diocese.

  3. A Migrant Mass will be held on 20/5/2017 at 11:00 a.m. at St Antony of Padua Church, 56 St Antony’s Rd, E7 9QB.  Procession of flags will take place at 10:30 a.m.  The nearest underground station is Upton Park.  Your active participation in this event is greatly encouraged.

  1. Maundy Thursday 13/4/17, Jesus instituted the Sacramenrt of Eucharist on this day. Please note that there Won’t be Chinese Mass at Bethnal Green, attend the Lord’s Supper Mass at your local Church.

  2. Good Friday 14/4/17 Jesus suffered crucifixion and it is a day of Fasting. Our Retreat will start at 11am, Stations of the Cross will be held in the afternoon followed by the Passion of our Lord. Your active participation of these activities are greatly encouraged.

  3. Holy Saturday 15/4/17 The Easter Vigil Mass will be held at 5pm. This is the most important Solemnity of the Church and there will be baptisms during the Mass. Please arrive early on that day.

  4. Easter Day 16/4/17 is one of four big Solemnities of the Church, Chinese Mass at our normal time. There will be 3 children receiving their First Holy Communion during the Mass. Please come and join in the celebration.

  5. This year is the 100th Anniversary celebration of Our Lady appeared at Fatima. Fr. Joseph will be leading a pilgrimage group to Fatima on 10th to 15th July. Should anyone wish to join this pilgrimage, please quickly contact Fr Joseph or Elaine to book the tickets and accommodations. Exact cost of this trip is not known yet. However, the earlier we book the flights tickets, the cheaper it will be.

  6. Our Chaplaincy is planning to invite Bishop McAleenan to come to celebrate Confirmaion for our parishioners. For those brothers and sisters who wish to receive Confirmation, please quickly contact Fr Joseph so that he can register your names at the Diocese of Westminster for this Sacrament. No date has been fixed yet.

  1. For parents who wish to register their children (aged 1-6 years old) to receive the Sacrament of Baptism at the Easter Vigil Mass, please kindly contact Fr Joseph.

  2. Ash Wednesday 1/3/17 is the beginning of Lent, please fast, attend Mass at your local parishes and receive the ashes. For those who cannot attend Mass on that day, the ashes can be administered at Mass on Sunday 5/3/17.

  3. March is the month when we venerate St Joseph and pray the Litany to St Joseph after Mass. We ask the intercession of St Joseph to help each of us in living out God’s mission and becomes our model.

  4. During Lent the Eucharistic Adoration will finish at 1:30pm and the Stations of the Cross will begin at 1:30 in Church. Your active participation is greatly encouraged, as we accompany Jesus on His way to Calvary to be crucified.
